Insurances Accepted

All of Neurolink’s service offerings and diagnostic tests are covered by most health insurances, including worker’s compensation and auto insurance companies. Neurolink will bill for the professional component of the testing and the treating physician will bill for the technical component of the testing due to the structured lease agreement executed with Neurolink. Each case or patient determined by the treating physician to be scheduled for the diagnostic test(s) will require pre-authorizations and proper documentation. Neurolink’s goal is to pre-qualify and verify insurance coverage before any testing is conducted. Neurolink does not accept HMO cases or Medical/Medicaid patients but will accept all of the following cases:

  • All Worker’s Compensation cases;
  • PPO patients;
  • Personal Injury cases;
  • Medicare patients; and
  • Cash patients.

Current Procedural Terminology (CPT Codes) Billing

The American Medical Association (www.ama-assn.org) in 1966 developed CPT, Current Procedural Terminology, to describe a procedure or service identified with a five-digit CPT code. CPT codes are generally based on procedures and services performed by many physicians in clinical practice in multiple locations. CPT provides a unified language that defines medical, surgical, and diagnostic services and serves as a communication method among medical professionals. The American Medical Association is in charge of adding, deleting, or modifying CPT codes and prepares each year, an annual publication that makes changes corresponding with significant updates in medical technology and practice. Most importantly, this code system is used nationally to report medical procedures and services that are performed on patients to their public and private insurance companies for reimbursements or payments.
